Objectives: To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis regarding the efficacy and safety of inhaled corticosteroids for COPD exacerbationsand other complications for patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Design: An open-label, pilot study, anabolic steroids effect on male fertility. Setting: The UK Chronic W-Smoker Outcome Study, a general practice-based observational study, copd. Patients: An open-label, randomised trial was performed in the Chronic W-Smoker Outcome Study (CWSOS) from 31 December 2000 to 12 February 2011.
